NewsTeam structure as a Organizations model.
Fast growing enterprises must always put their Labour Organization to the test. Because intelligently applied team solutions, optimize the work flow and motivate the coworkers. This experience was made by TROPACK Packmittel GmbH. Based in Lahnau, central Hessen, TROPACK has developed over the last 17 years to be one of the leading producers of desiccant and anti-moisture products, based on EDP-SUPPORTED sequence organisation and high standards of quality. However, although the meanwhile 50 coworkers are used to operate quality-consciously, the Labour Organization that had grown since the companies origin was no longer standing up to the high quantity of orders and the new customer structure. TROPACK received Assistance by the technology and innovation consultation of the RKW Hessen, which examined all production processes. Based on this analysis together with the Dr. Strong Management System GmbH and the DEKRA Certification, a new organisational structure was established. For each procedure or product group, by which teams obtained an extended freedom of choice. Since then each team organizes itself like its "own company", selecting their own team speakers and make own target declarations/agreements. The success of the measures is tangible: The slimmer decision-making processes and the simplified information flow increased the machine utilization without an increase in quality losses - and the coworker satisfaction has greatly increased. « back |
