NewsTROPACK quality management – new standard certification Quality management system corresponds in its entirety to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 Lahnau, Germany - October 2011 - the quality management system (QMS) of the packing specialist TROPACK Packmittel GmbH meets the requirements of the new QMS Standards DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. With the new certification, approximately 20 modifications have been successfully fulfilled. The Lahnau based TROPACK had previously voluntarily allowed regular monitoring of its QMS by the DEKRA according to DIN 9001:2008. “The unrestricted certification acknowledges the good structuring of our production system,” stressed TROPACK managing director Reinhard Kipke. “This is also recognized and acknowledged by our customers, such as CANON, who honored us during the previous year with the “Certificate Of Green Activity” for exemplary environmentally fair packaging.” A wide spectrum of manufactured products such as computers and IT-systems, optical measuring and test equipment and electronic devices, machine tools and military modules, pharmaceutical preparations and chemical products as well as food must be protected during the transportation and storage against corrosion and moisture damages. TROPACK develops and produces progressive packing solutions for safe product dispatch. The high-activity desiccators used thereby, help to lower costs by simple packing, less damage and complaints while at the same time lowering insurance claims thus insurance premiums.
